Suzuki Opens Micro-Plastic Collection Patents Royalty-Free

Suzuki Motor Corporation has announced it will make 34 patents related to its outboard motor micro-plastic collecting device available royalty-free, in a move aimed at supporting marine environmental conservation and broader industry collaboration.

The technology, already fitted as standard on select Suzuki outboards, is designed to help collect microplastics near the water surface while the boat is underway.
