Card Payment Surcharge Changes Are Coming
From 1 October 2026, businesses will no longer be able to apply surcharges to EFTPOS, Mastercard, Visa or American Express card payments. Members who currently apply card surcharges should review their payment systems, pricing, and customer information, and speak with their payment provider about any required changes.
