Alistair Murray Honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award

BIAV congratulates Board Member and Life Member Alistair Murray, recipient of the 2026 Australian Sailing – Victoria Lifetime Achievement Award. A driving force in Australian sailing and the marine industry for decades, Alistair has made an extraordinary contribution through his leadership at Ronstan and Australian Sailing, his support of sailors from grassroots participation through to the Olympic level, and his own lifelong involvement on the water. The award is a fitting recognition of Alistair’s enduring commitment to sailing, the marine industry and the people within it. Congratulations, Alistair, on this thoroughly deserved honour.
