Better Boating Victoria Record Making Update

For the first time ever, Better Boating Victoria has six boating infrastructure projects under construction simultaneously, making this the largest active construction program in their history.

Across the state, crews are on the ground delivering upgrades at:

  • Tooradin

  • Schnapper Point

  • Howqua Inlet

  • Werribee South

  • Port Welshpool

  • Tarago Reservoir

A major milestone has been reached with the Port Welshpool pontoon project reaching practical completion, and with Tarago Reservoir boat ramp construction now under mobilisation, momentum is really with BBV in this record-breaking infrastructure program. This isn't just a busy period. It's a boating infrastructure construction blitz, delivering safer, more accessible and more enjoyable boating facilities for Victorian communities right across the state.
