BBV June Updates: Boating Improvements
If you missed the latest updates from Better Boating Victoria (BBV) and the Victorian Fisheries Authority (VFA), there has been plenty happening across the state's boating infrastructure network. Recent projects completed include upgrades at Lang Lang and Rocklands Reservoir, improving launching access and usability for recreational boaters. Construction is also progressing at key locations including Tooradin, Howqua Inlet at Lake Eildon, and Schnapper Point, with works designed to increase ramp capacity, improve accessibility and enhance the overall boating experience. Looking ahead, new and upgraded facilities are planned for Tarago Reservoir, Port Welshpool, Werribee South, Lake Colac, Mildura Karadoc, Limeburners Point and Tullaroop Reservoir. BBV also continues to support participation initiatives, with boat-launching and trailer-reversing clinics delivered across Victoria to help build confidence and skills among new and existing boaters.
