EDUCATION COMMITTEE OPPORTUNITY
BIAV calls on its industry members to nominate them self or someone suitable for the BIAV Education Committee for the 2019 and 2020 period.
The committee will provide expertise and guidance with regard to marine industry education matters and in particular with regard to recognising and addressing skill shortages, lack of apprenticeship attractiveness, and TAFE course short-comings. The committee will work closely with Advocacy and Industry Skills Manager Ben Scullin.

Applications close on Friday 25 January, and the Board will then finalise the committee at it February meeting.
Suitable candidates with a passion and knowledge in this important area, and who want to see improvements, are encouraged to nominate.
