Nominate Your Outstanding Marine Apprentice

Nominations are now open for the Boating Careers KGM Australia Apprentice of the Year Awards 2026, recognising the talented apprentices helping shape the future of Australia’s marine industry. Awards will be presented across three categories:

• Marine Mechanical Apprentice of the Year

• Boat Building Apprentice of the Year

• Marine Trimming Apprentice of the Year

One finalist will also be named the KGM Overall Apprentice of the Year 2026, while an outstanding employer will be recognised through the Boating Careers Apprentice Employer of the Year Award. KGM Australia returns as Major Sponsor, with category support from Kangan Institute, Holmesglen Institute and the Australian Institute of Engineering.

Winners will be announced at the Melbourne Boat Show on Saturday, 17 October 2026. If your business employs an apprentice who deserves industry recognition, now is the time to nominate them. Nominate an apprentice here
