We Love Our Members: Listening, Connecting and Advocating- Northern Suburbs

Getting out and speaking directly with members is an important part of BIAV’s role. These conversations help us better understand what is happening on the ground, the opportunities businesses are pursuing and the challenges where stronger industry advocacy may be needed.

Last week Steve headed through Melbourne’s northern suburbs, one of the industry’s quiet-achieving marine hubs. The visit coincided with a Boating Careers industry immersion at Honda Marine and Diptech Performance, where enthusiastic students gained firsthand exposure to marine career opportunities. Along the way, Steve caught up with the Diptech team, Infiniti Boats, Razorcraft Boats, and members and industry representatives at Whittley, Skiforce and Triple M Marine. There is plenty of great work happening across the region, reinforcing the value of connecting directly with the businesses driving our industry forward.
