BIAV Board Update

The BIAV Board met last week and re-elected Scott O’Hare, Daved Lambert, and Neil James to the executive positions of President, Vice-President, and Company Secretary, respectively. This continues a period of strong and stable governance, and as reported after the 21 April AGM, they continue on with Sue Bowes, Josie Eastman, Alistair Murray, and Anthony Cooke, along with CEO Steve Walker. In terms of the presidency, this will be Scott’s fourth and final year. He was pleased to be re-elected, stating, “Thanks to my fellow Board members for this vote of confidence. It’s a great honour to continue in this role within our great industry. I’m hoping to have a great final year and, in particular, to see positive outcomes through the November state election, more progress in member engagement, as well as focus on some other key projects.” Scott also thanked Daved and Neil for taking on their important roles, noting what a valuable contribution they have made, and will continue to make for the industry.
