WANTED - MELBOURNE BOATCODE AGENT

An opportunity exists for a Melbourne based BIAV member to become a Boatcode agent, and to then be eligible to issue Hull Identification Numbers (HINs). In coming years there is expected to be increased demand for HINs, as requirements in relation to them are reviewed by state authorities. Those eligible for the role include marine mechanics, shipwrights, marine surveyors, naval architects, or others with extensive experience in the marine industry. Whilst this will offer a modest revenue stream in its own right, other opportunities and work may also result from being a Boatcode agent.
