Public Amenities

The BIA Melbourne Boat Show is held within the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC). The MCEC is conveniently located on the banks of the Yarra River in the heart of the city.
The MCEC complex is comprised of:
• The new Melbourne Convention Centre
• The Melbourne Exhibition Centre
• The existing Convention Centre

Melbourne Exhibition Centre

Stretching half a kilometre along the Yarra River, the Melbourne Exhibition Centre offers an unrivalled 30,000 sq m (323,000 sq ft) of clear span floor space, this year's Boat Show will take over the entire exhibition area of the Centre utilising an additional foyer area outside the halls to make for the largest Show to date.

A Customer Service Desk and 24-Hour Security Office are located immediately inside the front entrance to the Exhibition Centre. Telephones, toilets, automatic teller machines and GO-Ticket machines are all available on the Concourse level.

Disabled Facilities

Carpark spaces are available for people with disabilities in the Melbourne Exhibition Centre Carpark. They are located near entry doors 1, 6 and 10, which have lift access to the Concourse and Exhibition area on Level 1. To access Level 2 or Level 5, a separate elevator is located behind the Customer Service Desk. For Taxi pick-up and drop-off, there is a ramp outside the main Clarendon Street entrance.

Toilets are situated behind the Customer Service Desk as well as on Level 2 next to the Organiser's Suites. Inside the Exhibition area they are located either side of the Kiosks.
A special telephone is also available providing ease of use for visitors in wheelchairs and is located with our other public telephones on the Concourse. Also adjacent to the ATMS on the Concourse is a TTV telephone suitable for hearing impaired people.
