Win a camper by following the yellow brick road

Visitors to Melbourne Leisurefest from 2 to 5 October will have a chance to win a Sturt Off-Road camper by attending the Show and following the yellow brick road passport competition.

The Sturt Off-Road Camper, courtesy of Outback Campers, is valued at $14,055 including on-road costs, and is the largest model of the Outback Fleet range.

With an overall weight of 600 kilograms and large storage capacity, the tent folds from the rear of the trailer and is great for a family or extended trips.

Features of the camper include waterproof travel cover, slide-out stainless steel kitchen, fully plumbed two-burner SMEV stove, 59 litre water tank and pump, electric brakes, large lockable tool box with stoneguard and under-bed access to trailer storage.

The camper prize will be drawn at 6pm on Sunday October 5, and the winner will be contacted by phone and published in the Herald Sun.

Other attractions at the Show include a ride on Sandown’s newly built 4x4 test track and test towing caravans and trailerable boats down the Sandown straight with qualified drivers.

For those who want to get their boat or PWC licence, the Australian Volunteer Coast Guard will run licence training and testing sessions at 10.30am and 1:30pm daily.

Best of all, car parking at Sandown is plentiful and free.

Melbourne Leisurefest is Australia’s largest outdoor leisure show and runs from Thursday 2 October to Sunday 5 October at Sandown Racecourse, Springvale, from 10am to 5pm daily. Developed from the RV & Camping Leisurefest, it is a joint venture by the Caravan Trade & Industries Association of Victoria (CTIAV), Boating Industry Association (BIA) of Victoria and Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce (VACC).
