The Big Boy tinnie - all the room you need

With an extra wide beam of 1.83 metres – or six feet in the old language – Savage’s 380 Big Boy tinnie provides superior stability and plenty of space for lovers of in-shore fishing.

The Big Boy has a full floor with marine carpet so moving from one side of the boat to the other is a breeze, and two large thwart benches provide plenty of places to sit.

At 3.8 metres long, Savage’s Big Boy is certified to carry four people and is rated for up to 30hp.

The 380 Big Boy also has anchor storage at the bow, rails on the bow and aft, and - of course - it has level-floatation buoyancy.

“When you add up these great features, the 380 Big Boy makes a brilliant first boat or an ideal up-grade for more experienced anglers,” said Ian Stanley, Savage’s Product Manager.

“What’s more, like all Savage boats, the 380 Big Boy can be perfectly packaged with the ideal Mercury or Mariner outboard engine and a custom-built Savage easy launch trailer,” Ian said.

The Big Boy’s deeper transom means a Mercury or Mariner long shaft outboard is ideal. While it’s built for room, the 380 Big Boy is still easy to tow with the family car, only being 4.7 metres long and 1.6 high.

Importantly, there’s also a 5-year limited warranty.

All Savage Boats are all built with the same engineering integrity utilising fully welded construction techniques and proven designs.
