The “auto club for boats” launched at the 50th Annual BIA Melbourne Boat Show has proved to be a popular concept amongst the Victorian boating public. Hundreds of Boat Show patrons have taken up BIA’s special launch offer for a free first year of membership to the BIA Boat Club. “We couldn’t be happier with the uptake of membership to the Boat Club”, said BIA General Manager Clyde Batty.
“Club members will benefit from a wealth of special privileges including insurance, finance and specialist boating advice, in addition to having a new and powerful voice on boating issues. The Boat Club will strengthen the role of BIA as the peak representative body for Victorian boaters of all levels”.
