Evinrude outboards go greenEvinrude has expanded its E-TEC range of high tech outboards, with four new models on display at the 48th Annual BIA Melbourne Boat Show.
They will be among hundreds of new products on show at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre from 3 to 7 July.
At the top of the E-TEC range is the big new 300hp model, along with the 130hp mid-ranger and new 25 and 30 hp models in the smaller classes.
The 300hp offers a unique combination of performance, economy and ease of use for boaters who need serious power, and is available with 25 or 30 inch shaft length as well as counter-rotating models.
“No smoke, no smell” is the E-TEC catchcry, along with easier starting, more reliability, reduced servicing and smoother, quieter running, while retaining traditional two stroke virtues of light weight, high performance and relative simplicity.
The Boat Show offers entertainment, information and excitement for patrons of all ages.
Proven favorites include Flathead Fred’s Fun Fishin’ Show for Kids, Lulu Kids’ Activities and the Anaconda Climbing Wall as well as the Yamaha Superstage featuring the giant Yamaha Supertank and plenty of special attractions on individual stands.
Best of all, visitors have the opportunity to win the stunning fully equipped Quintrex 560 Freedom Cruiser boat package valued at over $40,000, courtesy of JV Marine World, as well as other great prizes.
The Melbourne Boat Show is organised by the BIA and runs from Thursday 3 July to Monday 7 July at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
Opening hours are 10am to 9pm daily except Sunday, when the show closes at 7pm, and Monday when the show closes at 8pm. Tickets can be pre-purchased by visiting www.biavic.com.au and following the links.
