Regal Marine, in Vermont, is a successful family business with a strong reputation, operating for 30 years. Due to family commitments, our Service Manager is moving to the country. Our busy service department needs an experienced Service Manager. As Service Manager you will be responsible for managing and leading our Service Team; the operational integrity of the service operations, retaining customers & delivering profit targets; reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Regal Marine is the Victorian/Tasmanian sole agent for the renowned Malibu ski/wakeboard Boats and the TABS all plate aluminum fishing boats. Our extensive boat yard caters for all levels of boating interest & experience, with a large retail store on site.

To be considered, you must posses the following:

Excellent technical and organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong leadership skills and experience.
Excellent analytical skills.
Proven record of experience in marine or similar industry.
Strong customer service focus.
A commitment to staff training & development.
Relevant Marine training and qualifications.

SALES CLERK / STOREPERSON ~ Boat Books ~ Listed 10 March 2010

Boat Books, Australia’s leading distributor of nautical books and charts has a vacancy for a Sales Clerk / Storeperson in its St. Kilda store. This is a 0.8 position and hours are flexible by mutual agreement.

The role is varied involving retail sales, handling mail/internet orders, end of day balances, processing of account payments as well as incoming telephone and fax orders and customer queries plus goods receipt and dispatch, pricing and coding of stock.

The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service ethic, must be able to lift up to 20kg and will ideally have a background in boating and /or sailing with good numeracy, literacy and computer skills and be competent in written and spoken English.

A position has become available for a Service Manager to head up the Service team at Inverloch Marine

As leader of our Service Department you will be responsible for the day to day running of this division including:

• Preparing / Scheduling daily repair orders
• Customer liaison
• Providing technical support and coaching to service staff.
• Service department efficiency, productivity and budgets.
