Whittley appoints new Tassie Clearwater dealer
Whittley Marine Group has appointed a new Tasmanian dealer, Seaport Marine in Launceston, to sell its expanded Whittley Clearwater range of family boats.

This is Tasmania’s second Clearwater dealer, joining Lewis Marine in Hobart which carries the Clearwater range in addition to being the exclusive Whittley premium dealer for Tasmania.

Seaport Marine sales manager Garry Laskey said he was delighted to take on the eight-model Clearwater range as its main fibreglass brand.

“Being associated with Whittley is a plus for any boat dealer,” he said.

“Carrying the Clearwater range is great – the Whittleys are such decent, honest people and their product is first class – everybody knows Whittley means top quality.”

Garry Laskey is expecting his first consignment of Clearwaters to be in the large, modern Seaport Marine showroom in the second week in June.

His dealership is the first in a national Clearwater network expansion, complementing the introduction of three new all-purpose fishing boats to create an eight-model Clearwater range.

The Whittley Clearwater 2150 becomes the new top-of-the-range model, while the 1600 and 1750 have expanded the choice of smaller Clearwaters.

Whittley’s expansion of the Whittley Clearwater range builds on the success of the five existing models, the 1800 Bow Rider, 2100 Walk Around and 1580, 1840 and 1900 family models.

Whittley Co-Owner and Managing Director, Neville Whittley, said the new Clearwaters created a model range that represented the best boats in their class.

“We now have a full range of modern and stylish boats, incorporating our latest design concepts so customers have the opportunity to enjoy Whittley quality in a broader range of boats than ever before,” he said.

Whittley Marine Group is Australia’s largest and most awarded builder of trailerable fiberglass boats, with a production capacity of more than 1600 boats per year at its Australian and American plants in Campbellfield, Victoria and Willacoochee, Georgia.
