Top Honda dealers score trip to Japan

Top Honda dealers score trip to JapanHonda recently took 26 of its top marine dealers to Japan as an exciting reward for their exceptional performance during 84Ki (Japanese financial year).
Coinciding with the launch of the new BF40/50 EFI four-stroke outboards, the 54-person contingent visited Hosoe factory – Honda’s dedicated outboard manufacturing facility – where each had the opportunity to be among the first in the world to test the new models on the adjoining lake.
Australian dealers, accompanied by Honda staff – Stuart Strickland, Kensuke Yanigasawa, Steve Missen, Chris New, Robert Johnson, John Gadellaa, Mark Suttle and Rod Day – also attended an exclusive Honda Marine business meeting where Japanese staff presented Honda’s global marine strategy, providing great insight into the future direction of marine technology.
Other highlights of the tour included visits to Twin Ring Motegi and Honda’s Aoyama (Tokyo) head office, as well as a guided tour of Tokyo.
The traditional farewell party on the last evening of the trip also incorporated an awards ceremony for top dealers.
