Grant Pellew appointed General Manager of Navtex for Lewmar Australasia

Lewmar, the U.K.-based international marine equipment manufacturer, announced today the appointment of Grant Pellew as General Manager of the Navtec rigging and hydraulic division of Lewmar Australasia.Pellew (37) has been involved in the marine industry for the past 15 years. He joins the Lewmar/Navtec team fresh from an America's Cup Syndicate (United Internet Team Germany), where he was managing the winch and deck gear department. Pre America's Cup he worked for the Wild Oats racing team.
Working with the Lewmar and Navtec Australasia team, led by Managing Director Carl Crafoord, Pellew will be based in the Sydney office and will manage all Navtec accounts for Lewmar Australasia's business including, Japan, Asia, Pacific and Australia.
The announcement is part of Lewmar's commitment to expand its business globally, especially in the rapidly expanding Australasian yacht racing market.
