Customers take control for CFC at Boat Show

Wednesday, 9 January 2008

The Corporate Fishing Charters stand at the 2008 Melbourne International Boat and Lifestyle Show will be staffed entirely by its own customers.

The Show runs from Friday 1 February to Sunday 3 February at Melbourne Docklands, where CFC is one of the well-known faces of the event.

There has long been a customer presence on the CFC stand at boat shows, but this year the enthusiastic volunteers are in charge.

Built on the good will of 14 years of high quality customer service, many CFC customers like nothing better than telling others of the delights on offer.

Keen Tyabb fishermen Jim Cooper will be there throughout the Show, backed up by Daniel Sefton, Roy Leunenmayr and other long-standing customers.

CFC owner and CEO Gordon Howlett said he was confident the products and service CFC provided would shine through in the personal experiences of his loyal customers.

“Our customers are always so happy with the holidays and trips we book, I thought the best way to let people know was to have them speak for themselves,” he said.

“They say word-of-mouth is the best recommendation, so I have taken up the generous offer of my customers deliver it straight from the stand at the Boat Show.”

Also helping to staff the stand through out the boat show will be some of CFCs leading suppliers, such as Captain Cook Cruises.
